Our programmes

Five flagship programmes, and the school, wellbeing and organisational projects that support them.

Village of Hope

Creating safe shelter where children can feel secure, find belonging and look ahead with hope.

Faith Foundation dreams of building a Village of Hope where vulnerable children and their families can find safety, healthcare, nutritious meals, and a place where they can rebuild their lives with dignity. The project will provide long-term shelter and a supportive community where vulnerable families can access care, opportunity, and the resources they need to build a more secure future.

  • Long-term, safe shelter
  • Healthcare
  • Nutritious meals
  • Access to care and opportunity
  • A supportive community

Classroom construction

Building welcoming classrooms that give more children the space to learn, discover and grow.

As the school grows, additional classrooms are needed to provide children with safe, appropriate spaces for learning. Support for classroom construction helps expand access to education while creating an environment where children can learn with dignity and teachers can teach effectively.

  • New classrooms
  • A library
  • A computer lab
  • A dedicated dining hall

Gira Inka (Give a cow)

Supporting families through livestock and community partnerships, helping them build more secure livelihoods.

Gira Inka is a community livelihood initiative that provides cows to vulnerable families to help strengthen nutrition, generate income, and build sustainable livelihoods. Through the sharing of this opportunity with another family, the programme encourages a continuing cycle of support, dignity, and economic empowerment within the community.

  • Stronger nutrition
  • A source of income
  • A sustainable livelihood
  • A gift passed on to another family

Future Keepers Conservation Club

Inspiring children to care for nature and take action to protect the environment for generations to come.

Located near Volcanoes National Park, Faith Foundation has a unique opportunity to connect education with conservation. Future Keepers Conservation Club gives children hands-on opportunities to learn about nature, plant trees, care for the environment, and become young conservation champions who can help protect their communities and natural heritage.

  • Plant trees
  • Learn about nature
  • Care for the environment
  • Paint, and sell their art to support their education

Where your support goes

Beyond the flagship programmes, gifts go to the buildings, equipment and people that keep the school running well.

Education & school development

Library & furnishing

Opening doors to reading, discovery, and lifelong learning.

A library gives children access to books and learning resources beyond the classroom. Support will help create and furnish a welcoming space where children can read, explore new ideas, develop confidence, and build a lasting love of learning.

Computer lab

Connecting children to the skills of tomorrow.

Access to technology is increasingly important in education and in the wider world. A computer lab will give children opportunities to develop digital literacy, explore new learning resources, and build skills that can support their future education and opportunities.

School buses

Helping children reach education safely and consistently.

Reliable school transportation can make a meaningful difference for children and families. Support for school buses helps provide safer, more consistent access to school and enables children to participate more fully in educational activities.

School kitchen & equipment

Building the foundation for nutritious school meals.

No child should have to learn on an empty stomach. For some children, the meal they receive at school may be the only meal they can count on that day. A properly equipped school kitchen helps strengthen the feeding programme and supports the safe preparation of nutritious meals for children.

Classroom & office furniture

Creating classrooms where children can learn comfortably.

Good furniture is an important part of a productive learning environment. Desks, chairs, storage, and office furniture help classrooms and school spaces remain organised, functional, and welcoming, giving children and teachers an environment designed for learning.

Hand-washing facilities

Making everyday hygiene easier and safer.

Hand-washing facilities help children develop healthy habits and support a cleaner school environment. Accessible places to wash hands are an important part of protecting children’s wellbeing and making hygiene a normal part of the school day.

Playgrounds

Making room for play, movement, and healthy childhoods.

Children need more than classrooms. Safe playgrounds give students space to move, play, build friendships, and develop important social and physical skills. Creating better play spaces helps make school a healthier and more joyful place to grow.
